Whole amounts
Write “only” at the end in English. Example: Fifty thousand rupees only.
With paisa
Spell the decimal part in words: Fifty thousand rupees and seventy-five paisa. In Urdu: پچاس ہزار روپے اور پچہتر پیسے.
Edge cases
- 0.05 → “Five paisa” (rare in cheques but valid for invoices)
- 0.5 → “Fifty paisa”
- 0.00 → Write “only” after rupees
